Direct Entry

In addition to providing the latest credit card payment technologies via internet and phone, Camtech can also process bank account debit payments.

Direct Entry is available through our Java API and SecureXML interfaces, and can also be managed via our Secure Merchant Login. Merchants require a signed agreement form from each customer wishing to use the feature, to enable them to debit their bank account. Once the agreement is registered with Camtech, the merchant can use their preferred payment gateway method, to take a payment from their customers bank accounts, directly into the merchant's own account. Merchants can use the system until their agreement with the customer expires.

Funds are cleared overnight due to the inter-bank processing requirements, and results are reported to the merchant the next day.
